AF650（ASTM色標）石油比色儀
將1個(gè)內徑33mm的圓柱形玻璃瓶?jì)燃尤氚肫繕悠?。為消除玻璃池壁對測量顏色的影響，將另外兩個(gè)同樣是33mm圓柱形玻璃瓶充滿(mǎn)蒸餾水與樣品瓶一同置于儀器內，樣品池位于中間。棱鏡將樣品和兩個(gè)標準板的顏色同時(shí)折射到統一的視場(chǎng)中。不清澈透明的樣品，如石蠟，先加熱到溶點(diǎn)以上再測量。色度單位大于8.0的深色樣品可用煤油溶劑稀釋后測量。
通過(guò)目視方法可檢測潤滑油、民用燃油、柴油、礦物絕緣油和固體石蠟等石油產(chǎn)品的色度
符合ASTMD1500，ISO2049，IP196，DIN51578，BS5859，JISK2580，NFT60-104，NBNT52-109，FTM719102等標準。

ASTMD1500定義的ASTM色標是檢測石油色度的*常用的一個(gè)標準。按照ASTM色度，將16塊標定了光投射率和色度的玻璃濾光片鑲嵌在兩張色度盤(pán)中，以0.5個(gè)色度單位為間隔從0.5（*淺）遞增到8.0（*深）。

The MTMDP models (MTMDP-2S pictured) include an integrated display for a fully integrated tester. Historically, transducers had to be purchased individually and connected to a display via a switch box or a group of cables.
