Durometer - Shore Hardness Tester for Rubber, Plastics and Soft Elastic Materials

Qualitest provides quality control departments and research laboratories with an extensive range of top quality Durometer and hardness Tester for accurate hardness determination on all natural and synthetic rubber products and soft elastic materials, plastics, acrylic glass, acetates, casting resin, polyester, thermoplastics, PVC, neoprenes, hardboards, wood, leather, fruits and much more. Our products provide the highest precision (normally 0.5% or better), quality and craftsmanship, durability, “yet require” almost no calibration in many years after the purchase. Our designs are engineered so that the Durometer stays precisely within the standard requirements. Qualitest Durometers are referred to as the “Swiss watches” among other products on the market. Investing in our line of Durometer is a guarantee of accuracy and assurance for many years of operation.
HPE II can be conveniently used in any vertical or horizontal position, and also in hard to reach areas. Also, with the possibility of an additional standing piece, making measuring on curvature just as easy. This unit can be used with the optional test stａnd as a bench-top laboratory Shore durometer.

The new generation of HPE offers an extended range of applications as well as data loggers and a new innovative data transfer by radio transmission-range of distance about 15m., which makes the HPE Series the most technologically advanced digital durometers on the market at a reasonable price. Data Logger has memory for 2000 measured values, statistical evaluation, data output, connection cable.

The patented pressing mechanism, integrated into the HPE II, ensures a constant contact pressure and measuring time according to standards, an indication of measuring procedure by optical and acoustical signal, serial interface and PC-cable, eliminating measuring errors caused and influenced by tilting or slope contact. The electronics is made into a robust and rugged aluminum shell which provides lightweight and durability, while the operation is done via a clearly arranged keyboard with an easy to read display. With using two buttons, the instrument is switched on and off and the measuring time can be adjusted from zero to 99 s. A flashing display indicates the current real-time measurement; while a beep signal announces the end of the measurement. The measured value will be shown on the display until the next measurement, and subsequently, the measured value can be transferred to PC or printer via the RS232-interface.

The HPE II Series Durometer allows you to save up to 300 results. The results will be saved automatically after the measurement is done. As soon as there are results in the storage, the display will show "M". An easy to exchange battery with a lifetime of more than 2000 hours is the source of energy for HPE.
