AM837x系列芯片包含AM8370、AM8371、AM8372三顆芯片，該系列是一款高度集成的混合信號SoC處理器，它適用于多媒體應用場(chǎng)景。AM837x內嵌的CPU是一個(gè)高性能、低功耗的32位RISC內核，具有DSP指令擴展性能，其運行速度可達700MHz。
AM837x集成了無(wú)損或接近無(wú)損的圖像/視頻壓縮和解壓縮模塊，可通過(guò)1Gbit/s以太網(wǎng)傳輸RGB888格式的1080P視頻。
AM837x多媒體處理器除了擁有1個(gè)USB OTG控制器、UART、I2C、SPI等接口，還集成了HDMI Tx和HDMI Rx接口，是一顆高集成度的多媒體視頻處理芯片，可為音視頻處理場(chǎng)景提供性?xún)r(jià)比的顯示解決方案。
