磁強計是測量磁感應強度的儀器。根據小磁針在磁場(chǎng)作用下能產(chǎn)生偏轉或振動(dòng)的原理制成。而從電磁感應定律可以推出,對于給定的電阻R的閉合回路來(lái)說(shuō),只要測出流過(guò)此回路的電荷q,就可以知道此回路內磁通量的變化。這也就是磁強計的設計原理,用途之一是用來(lái)探測地磁場(chǎng)的變化。
